And that's all that matters at the moment.

Never made it easy for ourselves but could have scored 6/7.

Why they show a HULL non-scoring chance?  We had plenty of those.

Was reticent to pay the 10£ after feedback on here but have to say I was very impressed. No buffering and decent quality via a MacBook (Google Chrome).

Wonderful for a tenner. Great game too!

What an odd side we are... we’ve looked solid as a rock at the back for the last 7 or 8 games, yet have struggled going forward, whereas today some of our attacking play was sublime but our defending shambolic... still fair play to the lads, Brentford again laid down the gauntlet but we didn’t panic and put the points in the board.

Johnstone - 6 - not to blame for either goal but failed to inspire any confidence. Hull targeted that space just in front of him with every dead ball.

OShea - 7.5 - Improves every time I see him, looked better going forward and isn’t afraid to take a man on or have a pop.
Bartley - 6 - Couple wobbles, but did OK in a game where few players come out well at the back.
Hegazi - 7 - cracking header for the goal and saved a certain goal... silly booking got him sent off but otherwise solid. Comes back in after his suspension.
Gibbs - 6 - good delivery, good attacking outlet but we looked better at the back after his injury, at fault for their second.

Sawyers - 5 - needs a rest... has looked sloppy since restart and today probably his worst game since joining. To blame for the opener and let them in several times. Toral  must have been gutted to see him go off.
Harper - 6.5 - Better than Sawyers, but part of the problem in midfield that saw us get overrun too easily. Should have scored.
Krov - 7 - linked the play well, was at the heat of most of our good work going forward.

Periera - 10 - 3 assists and a constant thorn in their side. Quite what this lad is worth I’ve no idea.
Austin - 8.5 - one of his best games for us. Linked the ball up well, looked fresh and hungry, settled nerves with the early goal we needed. Starts again Weds for me even if he only lasts 45 Mins or so.
Grosicki - 8.5 - Wonderful finish and could have had more. Would have been higher but was greedy when a pass would have seen us score more.

Townsend - 7 - we looked more solid after he came on.
Brunt - 7.5 - invaluable nous, use the ball very well and got us over the line
Livermore - 7 - added the bite in the middle we were lacking, the right sub at the right time
HRK - 6 - not sure he did an awful lot with the ball but his runs opened up space.
Diangana - 7.5 - lovely finish, and a bag of tricks. Looked a lot sharper.

EDIT- thought Townsend game on sooner than he did!

We could be either behind Brentford or promoted.

Next 2 fixtures for Brentford for my money appear to be their most difficult in their run up, if they slip up let's hope we can take advantage.
