Prepareing for relegation
#1
I think people need to get mentally prepared for relegation.

I can’t see us getting the wins we need to stop up.

We stink, and for us to go down this season particularly, means we're worse than we think as this league is full of dross.

Yes it's the FA Cup but I've seen nothing in the games since ER has arrived to suggest we can grind out wins, because draws sadly won't keep us up.

Yep. A first win from a must-win… well, I’m absolutely brimming with confidence.

14 draws would probably keep us up

We were heading down in November, lots of us could see it, but not the stupid owners.

I can't see Leicester going down, and Blackburn winning could be the bounce to get them out. Pompey can pull away with their games in hand...

I can't see us scoring enough, and think we'll concede too many, and as I said in November you don't want our players in a relegation fight because they have no fight. And now we have Ramses The Clueless.

Pompey had a game in hand today...didn't work out for them. Plenty of fight shown by the players at Blues

If there was one poster I'd not want saying this stuff....

WE WONT GO DOWN.Mark my words.
A lot of you lot love being defeatist why can’t you have some faith. It seems to me like some of you can’t wait for us to go down, just so you can say I told you so.

I disagree that we were heading down in November, our home record was good and we were competitive. Since sacking Mason we’ve been horrific, awful formation until he finally changed it but the players look like they are playing for a manger that doesn’t have a clue. We really struggle with basic movement and to me it’s clear the instructions and authority isn’t coming across to them. The transfer window was a disaster which again hurts the mentality. When you see kids coming in, I’m sure the squad start questioning the plan.

It would help if there was a plan for them to question.

I don’t think anyone wants to say ‘told you so’ - we’re deep in the shit, and our new manager just looks a carbon copy of the old one.

I don’t expect much against Cov, but they are fallible. He HAS to get something out of the Addicks or Oxford, though. If he doesn’t chalk up a win somehow by then, well, I think we all know what’s coming.
