  No coronavirus deaths in China!

So the country where it all started with 1.5bn people have contained it- meanwhile thousands elsewhere are dying every day
Surely this news is 6 days late for April fools?

Chammy, hope you're managing to stay afloat and positive.

How do the locals feel about the return of tourists (whenever that may be)? Is there a conflict between not wanting outsiders anywhere near the place and concern for their livelihoods?

  Albion v Man U 1966/67

On BT Sport 3 at 9.30am. A real thriller, for those of you too young to know.

If my memory is right, it’s filmed from the Rainbow Stand rather than Halfords Lane for some reason. Gives a strange perspective compared to normal tv footage.

Ten bus drivers in London have died
Posted by: Derek Hardballs - 04-07-2020, 08:04 AM - Forum: WBAUnofficial - Replies (14)

The personal stories of those that are having to carry on driving buses without any protection or even places to go to the loo or wash hands currently is appalling. I cannot believe they are being made to work in that environment.

The same goes for postmen and women and delivery drivers etc.

More needs to be done fir them and when hopefully this is all over a complete reassessment of who and what skilled and essential workers and a pay rise / tax break to reward them for putting themselves and their families at risk sometimes without choice.

  Home deliveries
Posted by: Remi_Moses - 04-06-2020, 09:52 PM - Forum: WBAUnofficial - Replies (12)

Ordered a home delivery from Morisson's 3 weeks ago.

It arrived today with 60% of items missing. I expect 1 or 2 items to maybe out of stock but 60% ?
I can't believe they have no basics like Chicken - Boiled Ham - Chops - Bacon - Gravey - Crisps - Chocolate - Washing up liguid, Dog chews, etc.
I have to arrange an additional shopping trip now and I have no confidence in using a home delivery service again.
Anybody else using one of these services, don't be disappointed with what you get or don't get in fact.
