I'm wondering how governments will "save" economies this time...

One area we more or less agree is that all that 2008 was was a massive kick of a massive can. I also think that in 2008 a more tangible potion of society was artificially shielded from things they’d can’t  be shielded from this time. Parts of the middle classes sailed through largely untouched in a way that just can no longer be maintained as the facade that it always was. And as a result, many of them are in many ways now the most exposed to pain this time around
