Like most people I loved GOT (except for the the last few episodes) but I've never had any desire to go back and watch any of the spin offs.

Yes it is. The last few seasons actually kept dropping in quality. The slow pace political tension was replaced with wow look at this battle bollocks. Stannis the greatest commander in Westeros defeated by Ramsey Bolton and a few good horses. There were so many this is bollocks moments. It was truly awful. The final season was just shit.

Couple of updates. Fallout episode 6, possibly the worst of the season (but still high quality stuff), particular kudos continues to go to set design - meat bags and all.

The BCIs are new to the series (although I suppose there was similar tech used on Deathclaws in FO3) and as with anything unfamiliar I'm finding the development of this aspect of the storyline to be quite slow, mundane even.

Don't get me wrong still a great episode, just weaker than the preceding 5.

Also now watched ep 1 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. I really enjoyed it, faithful to the novella, introduces the two main characters. Feels very much like Westeros should too.

Great little Easter Egg when they started up the GoT theme only to brilliantly cut it short before it really got going!!

BCIs?? I enjoyed episode 6 more than 1 & 2
