Last season of Stranger Things starts the night we play Blues at home. Could be a tricky call

Did series 2 over the wekeend, started slow and was a bit doubtful but was worth a watch. Will probably do series 3 next weekend.

TBH series 3 starts slower but it builds beautifully. Work sticking with.

Finished the latest series of Slow Horses. Still good but the weakest series so far I'd say. Started House of Guinness which had a reasonable first episode. Great cast anyway.
Blue Lights is class and will start series 3 soon. Same for The Diplomat which has a new series out and is very good. I think I've binned The Bear off. First two series were great but the third was rubbish. I've always hated the trope of "conflict which could be resolved with a 30 second conversation if anyone bothered"

Watched the 4th series in the hope it could go back to the levels of the first 2, tbf it was decent enough, much better than s3 but not up to the standard of the first 2. I’d recommend it though if you’ve watched the first 3. Will give the new Partridge a go next, not really heard much either way about it so will give it a go.

Get the gripes but, season 3 was a transitional season imo. There is decent backstory for several characters and Carmy's mental health issues play out throughout the season as he isolates himself and nearly sends them under. Season 4 definitely pays it off, the wedding episode is fantastic.
Season 5 has been ordered and I'm still massively here for it.

People have been telling me it gets better as it goes on too. |
