Wot I am watching now
I initially thought the same about the last of the Adolescence quartet but on reflection maybe the power was in presenting the relative normality that the chaos was set against. The point of the whole thing being that we are set to expect to find that the answers are because a kid has been mistreated or there was a trauma in the family environment, whereas the whole thing is about how widespread the susceptibility has become. I kind of rated how it concluded after initial disappointment

Mrs Saus and I enjoyed Mobland tonight too. Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are excellent.

Residence is worth watching, it's like a murder mystery made by Monty Python.

Just finished series 2 of The Night Agent.

Run of the mill secret agent incorporating just about every cliche going.  A thin plot stretched out over too many episodes plus some pretty wooden acting.

It's alright if you have nothing better to do.

While I'm at it, just watched the first two episodes of Matlock starring Kathy Bates.   Cheesy USA legal drama that needs to make its mind up if it is a legal drama or a comedy. Because so far it is trying to be both and failing on both counts.  Obligatory woke cast and audience-lecturing script.

The problem with Adolescence was that making the crime the most serious it could be made it was relevant than it should have been.

As a straight up drama it was very good, particularly episode 1 and 3.

But I think the point they were trying to make was lost because the crime was so serious and therefore less relevant to most people's experiences.
