I was very late to the party with a lot of the American stuff but over the last year I’ve finally managed to watch Breaking Bad, Better call Saul, The Sopranos, The Wire and True Detective. Any recommendations for what to watch next?

Dexter, Lost, Prison Break, The Killing, Treme.

I agree. I felt the bad guys character was a little forced into the story line and wasn't developed enough. 

Really good effort though.

Reporting back on Electric State, hmmm.. I suppose if you like graphic novel to film genre then it kind of ticks the boxes where that is concerned, however I felt a little let down by Chris Pratt and constantly reminded me of him still being in a Star-Lord type role, which is unfortunate of course. The action and FX's especially the interactions with the robots are brilliantly done.

Little bit disappointed tbh, 5.73/10, better adaptations of Simon Stalenhag's works is Tales From The Loop - which is actually a series and I think The Electric State may have benefited from being developed into a mini series (4/6 episodes) rather than cramming into 2 Hrs.

My lad is a massive Ted Lasso fan. I see they’ve commissioned a new series. I find it an enjoyable watch by and large

3 episodes in to Adolescence.  Bloody grim but incredible to watch.
