I'd say it's good that the owners are talking to all possible candidates. I'll judge when the appointment is made.

He knew he was gone and his reaction towards the directors area showed that.(12-28-2024, 05:08 PM)Derek Hardballs Wrote:(12-28-2024, 04:58 PM)Tom Joad Wrote:(12-28-2024, 04:36 PM)Bob Fossil Wrote:(12-28-2024, 03:54 PM)tHEgLASSdOORS Wrote: In the frame and would take it if offered Sacking Eustace wasn’t the problem. Appointing Rooney and Uncle Tony getting ill was. We’re a league below and I wouldn’t swap Chris Davies for Eustace ever.

Eustace, Robins and Heitinga are all decent options for me.
Not Martin though. We need a manager not a marketer

At the start of last season he did, not for the season before. And there has to be element of trying to win games as opposed to not lose them to keep people happy. Hence the threads on here and pills about Corberan being too negative before he left, and with you being in the play offs. It’s a fine line that many managers walk and it’s ok when results mean 3 points

We have to listen to everyone not judge on fashion. He could only turn it down though if it was offered which it almost certainly was not. Him ruling himself out due to a poor interview is not the same thing.

However, his teams are very pragmatic and the Blackburn fan I work with is not a fan at all. Doesn’t bother me but those who thought Carlos’ team was too negative won’t be keen. My thoughts on Schumacher too, really hope we don’t go there .

Times are saying (in a throwaway line) that we've put Heitinga on a list, doesn't confirm what that list is about, might be a list of Dutch Evertonians.
