Day Of The Jackal is just getting silly, the ridiculous coincidences are spoiling it. And that woman's 'acting' is getting worse, gone from a 9 to maybe a 7 in the last couple of episodes.
Jackal has veered completely into “it’s ridiculous but just go with it” territory now.
Like watching 24 or something.
I'm just hoping Redmayne can do the 'target' character and the MI6 woman with one shot... If not then please let him kill her

I did a full chronological Arrowverse watch during COVID. Doom Patrol is pretty out there but has a decent cast and some good storylines. Not sure I'd have picked it up as a standalone show however.

Ta. I’m looking for something to replace the eternal wait for the conclusion of The Boys

Good recommendation. Done with it in 3 nights. Decent show, well cast, with an original serial killer story not adapted from the novels.
Nowhere near as good as Bosch but then Patterson isn't as good a writer as Connelly imo.
Season 2 is on the way so will keep an eye out for that, but they'll need another villain, my guess (if going from the books) would be one of the characters from season 1 (no spoilers) along with another original storyline.
For a more faithful adaptation Morgan Freeman played Cross in 1997 and 2001 on the big screen in Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider. Both good movies though I haven't seen them for about 15 years.

You know what, my mind went off that way when I was watching it. I was dead certain Freeman did Along Came a Spider and was called Cross. So thank you for confirming I'm not mental.

Watched the new Beetle juice the other night, after re-watching the original, not a patch on the original. Nothing much happens for ages, Monica Belluci's character looks great, but is superfluous.
Could've shaved 20 minutes off the runtime easily. 6/10

Well the first episode of the latest series of 24 Hours in Police Custody was a suitably mental foray into the world of online stalking

I caught the last 15 mins, that guy genuinely concerned me…
In the form of his life.
