For those who like a crime doc, Teen Predator / Online Killer on iPlayer. Not for the faint hearted though, it's fucking harrowing. If, like me, though, you've got teenage kids you have to watch this shit to have an understanding of the risks your kids face online.
These billion pound platforms really should hang their head's in shame that they are not doing more to protect kids.

All caught up on Jackel. Continues to be absolute nonsense but also enjoyable at the same time.

Watched the first episode of Dune: Prophecy, looks like it's going to be interesting if you like Frank Herbert's Dune. Emily Watson hasn't aged well, but it's nice to see Ragnar Lothbrok back on TV, I'm expecting he'll smash someone's face in with an axe at some point.

Finished The Penguin. A couple of nice teases at the end to set up The Batman part 2 and there are now whispers about a sequel series though nothing is written or signed as yet.
Thought it was cleverly done, the guy has no redeeming features, he's shows you that over and over, to the very last scene and you're still pulling for him. Perhaps in this case it's because he's going up against other villains and so not akin to Day of the Jackal and before that the likes of Narcos, Ozark, Better Call Saul etc. It's definitely a bit paradoxical casting these awful characters in the role of the protagonist but this antihero trope is putting out some of the best shows of the last decade imo.

Say Nothing on the Disney+. Fug me, harrowing times I'm sure. Straight through 4 episodes easily tonight. Excellent so far.

Watched the original Beetle juice last night, dated in parts, but still good fun.
Day Of The Jackal is just getting silly, the ridiculous coincidences are spoiling it. And that woman's 'acting' is getting worse, gone from a 9 to maybe a 7 in the last couple of episodes.

Man on the Inside, on Netflix, is a nice easy watch with Ted Danson as sharp as ever. True story an all.
