Watched ITVs Joan last week. Decent enough, I thought. Also Ludwig on iplayer which was untaxing and light hearted. I've been told to watch The Outrun at the cinema, anyone been to see it?

One Life
Film on Sky Premiere The true story of Nicholas Winton organising the transportation of 669 children, mostly jewish, from Prague as the Nazis invaded. 15000 Czech children were subsequently sent to extermination camps, less than 200 survived. Anthony Hopkins's performance is brilliantly understated.

I've been told to watch The Outrun at the cinema, anyone been to see it? Watched the Outrun a few weeks back, and it's average but a good performance from Saoirse Ronan, still better than Joker 2. I would highly recommend the Trump based movie The Apprentice. Great performances from the 2 main protagonists. The new Salem's Lot was ok.

Netflix - Wicked Little Letters (funny but I don't think I've heard so many swear words in one programme/film}
then also Netflix A Man Called Otto Tom Hanks film ( I laughed & cried)

Officer Blackbelt. Korean drama about a martial arts expert who ends up working in probation. A bit soapy, but some good fighting scenes.

Anora - It'll be out in the UK soon. It's a great film about a stripper who marries the son of an oligarch, whose parents don't approve of the marriage. Euphoric at points and desperately intense at others.

Started that Until I Kill You. Main character is a bit off putting, but 2 episodes so far and it's building nicely
