You're funny Nick.
Why don't you rate Grant again?

They're not as easy to score as you think.
Yours, Stuart Pearce, Gareth Southgate, David Batty.....
I just don't.
But why?
If he was that good he'd be signed for another club by now like Watkins.
He signed for a Premier League club nearly 2 years ago and is two years younger than pin-up boy. As I have already pointed out, he has scored more goals than PUB in the last two seasons in a bottom of the league side. You really need to pay more attention.
We'll see though. Have any other club in the football league been in for him? Who knows? And I trust their scouting methods and procurement over ours. What are you talking about, you're not making any sense? Nope.
So potentially on Friday we'll have the same side that struggled to promotion with a decent Championship forward who's untried at this level. Friday? Are you pissed? We play Burnley on Monday. We were top 2 all season and top for a fair chunk, so how did we struggle? The season is 46 games, yes the last few games were nervy but we thoroughly deserved it. Grant has played 13 games in the Premier League and scored 4 goals, when he was 21. PUB is 25.
Not good enough. Bilic obviously thinks he is.
Get Deeney (we both agree on that) and we have some snot and grit. But it'll be tough regardless. We could do with Deeney's leadership and experience but it's not a deal-breaker. Mandzukic will do. Grant is the future.
Mandzukic - LOL!
Bottled it - yet again Nick. Sobered up?

I never touched a drop.
I hardly slept though as I was laughing so much about Mandzukic!

What's the point of the Board then JK if you can't challenge repeated opinions that have no basis?
Grant has more experience that Watkins in the Prem, has scored more goals in the Prem and has scored more goals over the last two seasons than Watkins. FACTS.
I'll leave it there, as it's pointless trying to have a conversation with the Tipton seal.

Glad I was able to bring some light-heartedness into your sad, cynical world.

I'm waiting for the "Palace in late bid to hijack Grant move" headline, or the "Grant Talks Break Down" shocker.

Is Grant on the OS holding up the shirt yet? I'll breathe easier when he is. I like the idea of Deeney for his attitude, unlike most on here though, I really don't think he's all that good on the deck. A last gasp bid/loan of a defender would be useful too.

Yes, according to my sauces.

Doesn't look as if it will happen which is a shame but he'd be the ideal foil for our younger nippier players and a great influence around the place.
I bet there's not a centre-half in the Prem who fancies it against him.
Talking of not being good on the deck did you see his deft pass to Sarr for the 2nd against Poo and also his amazing goal? Just a couple of examples...
Bilic wouldn't have to give too much of a team talk with Troy and Ivan in the dressing room. That's what we need right now, Leaders. And if Bilic is happy to bring in a near 37 year old why wouldn't he be prepared to bring in Deeney who's just turned 32?
The counterfeit Albion are favourites to sign him.

+1
Although I've heard he has fitness issues.
