West Brom: Looking to offload Charlie Austin. Loan deal favoured. Birmingham City interested although looking at Hogan permanently first. Nottm Forest and Millwall also interested. #WBA #Forest #Birmingham #Millwall"

So are we looking at 2new strikers. We will find out eventually.

re: Ollie Watkins to Leeds / anyone - I saw it said that there is an £18m release clause, but that Brentford would want more for him, how's that work? Surely if 5 clubs offer £18m they have to take it and it's then up to him where he goes?

Please God!

Get rid of Austin! And HRK! Would be a great start to the transfer dealings and bold statement of intent.

Can't see Austin going anywhere unless he wants out to get first team football.

I'd be happy with him as a useful sub. And I agree that it really will come down to contract situation.
Why would he leave if he's on a good salary?
If he's  going we  will have someone lined up.

Austin on north of 50k/wk... and 12 months on his deal... he was expensive but was worth it in the end... if we can shift even 50% of his wage it’s another million or so in the kitty.

He may well find it easier to take a pay off from us and get a 2-3year deal elsewhere on reduced terms... as with his fitness issues another year warming the bench won’t see there being too many takers come next summer.
