Swansea, imho, were a threat first half. Second they offered nothing.

Nowt to do with hindsight. Everyone I spoke to were confident of winning before the game and during. It ain't like we aren't used to conceding a goal at home. You must sit in doubters corner.

Even I'm confident we'll win any game we play this season. I just can't see where our next defeat is coming. I'm so confident in this team.

I don't like it!

Swansea were in the game for 40 minutes but kept making terrible errors, and this Albion side is simply more clinical than for many a year.  Their worst mistake however was taking Petersen off - easily their best player in the first half and was giving Ferguson a bit of a hard time.  Once he'd gone so had Swansea.  Could not understand Cooper swapping him for Dyer for the life of me.

Second half they just didn’t turn up. Score line a fair reflection of our domination.
They’ll be a few more hidings like that to others this season.

This. Score at half time slightly flattered us. Goal just before half time was very important.
Second half only one team in it.Our greatest strength is in tight games, we have that extra quality which makes all the difference.

We were sublime and breathtaking in equal measure today, Swansea had not lost away up until today are a decent side and to cut them to ribons and outplay them like we did without ever getting out of 2nd gear was very very impressive, the potential damage this team could do if they move up through the gears with ruthless intent is truly frightening imvho, bring it on.

Their keeper didn't make many saves, either!

Well yes. He let 5 in. He didn't make many saves that's for sure.

I’d agree with... when they made it 2-1 they had spell of pressure where previous Albion sides would have conceded again, however this team seems to have a knack of grabbing goals at important times and as soon as Hal made it 3 I always felt we’d win.

Second half Swansea just collapsed. No idea what Cooper said at HT but second half we could have had any score we’d wanted. They were well beaten, and even the ref took pity on them only adding 2 mins on.

…..the real reason for this....Sky TV.....

Our game was on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football yesterday.   The game after ours on Main Event was Villa vs Leicester.  Our game ran over that much due to head injuries, other injuries and subsequent subs, when the game finished after the 'two' minutes injury time, they cut the feed and went straight to Seal Park where the teams were in the tunnel waiting to come out.  If the ref had played the correct amount of injury time (which much have been at least 6 minutes, given the events as above) the Villa game would have almost certainly have kicked off.

The Sky thing was exactly my thoughts exactly.

There’s a lot of hindsight on this thread. At HT my exact text to a mate was...

They’ve been decent in spells but we look like we are gonna score every time we attack. Not done yet though, but score again and this could be anything.

Couldn't they have continued our coverage on football channel and cut to villa game on main event?
