The keeper is a binfire under a high ball, the one 2nd half was so bad as to be comical. But, he was excellent at everything else last night and made 2 crucial good saves.

Because O'Leary was in goal last night?

It was obvious my point was a general one. Griffiths doesn't command his area, but people don't keep stressing that when he plays.

Griffiths doesn't look absolutely petrified when high balls come into the box. The general view from Bristol City fans about O'Leary seems to be a fairly spot on - good shot stopper but highly vulnerable in terms of crosses into box.

It helps that Griffiths is about 5 inches taller than MOL. And as we all know, 5 inches is fucking massive.

Of the 2 keepers on the pitch last night, I am glad we had O'Leary and not Beadle.

I'd probably say that all the scores are a mark or so higher than they should be but maybe that's because of the situation we're in and what we were willing to accept, apart from maybe Molumby who was an easy MoM for me.

He made a couple of good saves but his inadequacy on crosses can't inspire any confidence in the defence. If I were an opposing manager I'd be focusing on getting lots of high balls into our box as he looks terrified by that.

I think you're forgetting Diakite's suicide backpass which could easily have been Swansea all over again. He's a player who serves a purpose but I wouldn't be taking up our option on him in the summer.

As for Dike, I think even a 5 is generous. Across the last two matches he really has achieved nothing. He looks slow, ponderous and the ball never sticks to him. It's sad to see but I think Ryan Mason was right on this one unfortunately. I think Maja is going to be a better option in the run-in even is he's not exactly Mr Commitment.

That was probably the one dodgy moment for Diakite that stands out. It's to easy to dismiss a player by picking out individual moments of calamity. Semi and Barts have histories littered with spectacular brain farts, but the each played around 200 games for us and frankly are missed now they've gone. We don't have anyone apart from Diakite in the Yacob/Scharner mould, and sometimes that's what you need.

Considering he's England U-21 keeper I've never been hugely impressed with Beadle so far. He's obviously relatively good for a youngster but I think he needs to bulk up. He's incredibly lightweight and skinny for a keeper. I don't see him as being any better than Griffiths from the times I've watched him.

Mason messed up though not using him, because those two minutes every other game made it look dumb. It also burned Heggebo out which we're now suffering with. There also the argument some more time earlier in the season and he'sd have got his head up by now and be more effective.

100% agree.

Up front is a massive concern and one I'm surprised we didn't try and something in the window with a loan. To have Heggy, who is out of form and knackered from chasing lost causes and feeding off scraps, Maja who has his flip flops on, and Dike who is miles off the pace leaves us woefully short. We even lost Grant who can fill in there.

We could really have done with another body up top. I don't think we have anyone at all in the U21's who is anywhere near ready either.

We miss Grant more than what a lot of people think

Diakite was one of our better subs last night. We certainly missed Heggebo, and I understand why Imre had to be hooked.  Our subs coincided, understandably with the home side searching for a winner and having better options off the bench so the game swung their way. We held our nerve well.
