His agency "Q" is a large European consortium of ex players and FA & FIFA officials. Gordon Cowens does some work for them.

Agree. The lad will do what he thinks is best for him. It's a career for them that's all. No point getting worked up over it.

I'm confused. We have shown him loyalty. We have given him numerous contracts form the age of 7 until 18. He's now refused to sign the latest one.

If he doesn't want to fair enough. My point remains if he doesn't then why the fuck should we still pick him? We've done enough for him. No point helping him any further.

If he's decided he wants out then fine. I'd ask him to clear his locker and sit at home until the season is out.

I only give a shit about the club progressing. Anything/anyone who doesn't can fuck off imo.

Sorry, are you the only one allowed to be sarcastic?

I said more sarcasm.

I saw your comment re. O Shea. I can't work out whether you're willfully ignorant, trying to cover up a racist comment with yet more racism in a misguided attempt at humour or just on a massive wind-up. I'm guessing it's a mixture of all three.

So you absolved me of racism before (for which I'm still oh so thankful for), but now I've had the audacity to be sarcastic, i'm once again a racist?

RE the O'Shea comments (not O Shea, you absolute ignoramous), i was born to Irish Catholic parents in Avoca before moving to the Midlands as a child. But of course, those comments were clearly me being racist once again.

To be honest, i couldn't give two shits about what a sanctimonious, self important random on a message board thinks of me.  I'm sure you'll have the last word, as per usual ...

Is he our best right back? Possibly. I think there's nothing between him and Furlong myself, and O'Shea didn't look far off yesterday either.
He gets forward aswell and is very quick and he reads the game like a centre back he reads the game very well for a young age
I still think Ferguson will sign a new contract.
I have my doubts

I know mate. He probably is. I just feel that he won't be as good for the remainder of the season for a number of factors.

Firstly he's running his contract down to sign for someone else. A big injury will leave him exposed. Do we want someone playing for us who will be backing out of challenges and who's mind isn't 100%?

Secondly the fans. You know as well as I do he will come in for some stick for leaving. As soon as something goes wrong there will be people on at him.

In an ideal world neither of the above would happen but I think he was already showing signs of switching off before his injury.

Big call by Bilic but I think he'll only want players who are 100% committed to the cause.
