I saw it and heard it just now on this thread.

I know it can be frustrating watching our neighbours spending money that isn't their own but ultimately it's right to be self sustaining. That isn't me talking from the high moral ground. I'm as vengeful as anyone and long for the day Abramovich get's tired of Chelsea, Man City get thrown out of Europe, Fosun demand their millions back and villa get done for FFP and get sold to the sons of  the Bhattis.
It is worth remembering that Jeremy had us for sale for a couple of years without attracting any interest from any Father Christmas types.

Thats because he couldn't find a mug to part with the money.

Interesting that Seals and Wolves bought cheap in the Chump before the spunking began.
Unless compelled to by underconsumption hit on cash flow, I can’t see why the Chinese would want to sell UK assets. They won’t be so easy to buy in future.

As far as Lai is concerned, so far it’s an overall fairly positive. The club had made huge strides and was worth the money spent in terms of asset amortisation under a climate it was sold at, illusorily. As regards peer investment analysis goes we were worth way more back when we were one of the few our size with an A grade academy and even fewer of any size with technology such as digital ticketing and stile cards. We owe Peace a lot, but he took from Lai rather than us with respect to leaving him in the lurch; and having to go back to his deputy with a blank check.

West Brom looked fabulous and stable at the POS. In reality it had been festering since the day Pulis assumed control of transfers, and most likely would have had he not got his way.

Couldn’t plan it... (or could you?)

But the depressing fact is that villa, with all their debts,  have been bought and sold 4 times recently with zillions being chucked at them en route. Whereas Albion barely get a response when they are for sale. This is despite Albion being in a profitable, self sustaining state and able to pay it's chief exec  a handsome salary. Tells me, the constant talking the club down from within, "middling championship club", "overachieving", "look at our players compared with theirs", has had a big affect on our image.
Dont get me started.

+ 1 to what Duffers said.

Add to that West Bromwich is hardly a glamorous club.

Shall we build a casino above greggs? Might make us a bit more alluring, no?

Too many egos on here to make that workable.

I think of greater concern would be everyone finding the 100 grand. I could maybe muster £100. Do I still get a say in the running of the club?
