One for Manc, who was the fella who signed for us and played in the 5-3 away win in the League Cup at Bradford? Memory says it was somebody Banks or something. Think we signed him and sold him in the same month.

Was talking about Banks in the train back from Hull.  The last WBA player to return and score a hat trick

Talbot signed him on deadline day 89 on a permanent - same day as Ford. Banks left that summer to Barnsley. He defo didn’t play at Bradford - was gone by then.

Signed on a free from Tranmere. Helped us stay up under megson but it's undoubtedly most famous for trying to shatter Andy Johnsons legs in the battle of bramall lane

To be fair, Johnson had shattered Santos' face in a previous encounter. Whether Santos clattered Johnson on his own initiative or Warnock's instructions is one of those things we might know.

True. The fact that Suffo got sent sent off immediately too gives us the answer in my opinion......
