Hell of a shout that!!!

Michael Tongue ran the show that night, think Pulis ruined his career a year or so later.

Berthe made a 30 something Ashley Ward look like Agüero too.

He sure did

Sakiri amazing. Someone else got hooked. FFFust. 1 guess a poster

I'm going to go Hulse. By virtue of the fact if Hughes and Deech came on then I can't see us at any one time playing with 4 strikers as I'm pretty sure Dobie played.

So I'll say Hulse...or Dobie ....hmmm. Deech and Hulse is overkill even at 2-0 down. So Hulse...

Hulse and berthe hooked at HT.

Who came off for artim?

Was it old fat arse Gregan?

Winner at Leicester and at home to Bournemouth. Crackers too.

Got a stunner when we thrashed Bristol City too IIRC

Craig Beattie always struck me as someone who should have appeared as an extra in Gregory's Girl.
Uncannily white and wearing some other kid's P.E. kit.

Brilliantly put Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Beattie scored the 2nd in a 2-0 against Spurs. He gave us a few good memories tbf but was never a key player.

Liam O'neil.

Came through the academy and played for us in the PL under Clarke and Mel. Haven't heard of him since.

The epitome of a scorer of good goals rather than a good goalscorer.

Georges Santos

Signed on a free from Tranmere. Helped us stay up under megson but it's undoubtedly most famous for trying to shatter Andy Johnsons legs in the battle of bramall lane

Stewart Bowen. Local lad, scored in Milk Cup (or whatever) against Peterborough, I think, then disappeared.

Always thought Roy Hunter was in the fast lane for an England shirt. Didn't he go to Torquay and then disappear?
