By an unhappy coincidence, we're playing Wigan away tomorrow. We also played at Wigan away straight after our most famous son, Stanley Matthews died. The minutes silence was marred by a number of Wigan fans chanting, following which some of our lot kicked off and fighting broke out in the stands.
There's been further skirmishes between the two sets of supporters since, so there's a bit of concern as to what might happen tomorrow.
Personally, I'd have preferred it if this had happened before our match at the weekend. I know the heathy following of Baggies would have commemorated the occasion fully and properly.
