I'd throw him in even if we go up if your good enough your old enough someone once said, I seem to remember a young 16/17yr old at Everton turning out OK (even if he's an ugly thick twat)

He should be playing competitive football now.....If he's good enough get him in the team

The Cup match against Brighton passed him by, although he nearly scored an amazing goal. Good pre-season with the team though and who know what could happen.

There's a difference between playing with kids and then stepping up to play against blokes who are much older than him.

He's got a very bright future, hopefully with us for the next few years but let's not rush him into it.
