I've never seen a queue at the Sutton tip since the appointments were brought in. Used to be brutal on the local roads back in the day on any weekend or bank holiday.

Needed an appointment for ages at Stourbridge. System works really well and there are always slots available on the website for same day, often can get them within the hour.

No appointments needed at Aldridge tip. Mind you, they don't even bother stopping you and asking what you've got half the time.

Imo, booking systems for household refuse centres is Man's greatest post-COVID achievement. No queues!

TBF I'd assume every tip needs you to book a slot, most have s for an absolute age.

not true.  Most have dropped the appointment system. Totally unnecessary.

It's not somewhere I've been to that often, but the three I know of, Walsall, Sunderland ISH and Solihull need a slot booked, or did the last time I went.
