Not only are we arguing about whether the current manager is any good, but also about whether they were better than the previous one, better than the ones that would have been the previous ones had they been preferred, better/worse than the next one who is not here yet and probably won't be here anyway, and whether they did a good job when they actually were here in the first place.

I reckon Livermore is a potential future manager. Angel

Just worth pointing out, the Venky’s have bankrolled Blackburn to the tune of £383k/week for 11 years… that’s almost £220m, with the majority of that spent outside the PL….

What's the source of those figures please? If they've put that much into the club, why are they so unpopular with the fans?

Price of football - probably the most robust source you can get for football figures.

Why are any owners unpopular with fans? They’ve had no success… there are Brighton fans moaning about their lack of spending when Bloom as put nearly £350m in, there are Villa and Wolves fans similarly moaning…

Absolutely.

The Venkys are never getting over appointing Kean/ that initial relegation.  They have certainly spent since that PL relegation in 2012 - but a chunk of that spent poorly by Kean.  Danny Murphy was on huge money just to ponse about playing nothing passes

Not to mention the money they spent on Nuno Gomes to hobble around Championship boxes in his late 30s for half a season!
