Think there could be a lot of disappointed people on this board I'm afraid as Vile Being Vile the Jamiest streakyest bunch of fisheatingsealwankers this side of the artic circle and beyond will almost certainly get away with it and will probaly fluke promotion through the playoffs after Blues take the last top 6 spot then get deducted points handing it to Vile who will then play a kamikazi Leeds side  who down tools after Bielsa upsets the players with another rant then face pullisball at Wembley who will try to hold out for pens from the 1st minute , you just know it don't you  Angel Angry

Would you like them poached, pickled or fried??   Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Meanwhile, over on Seal Talk, the gate is still open.

So there has been a lot of negativity since results in the week. Yes we dropped into the bottom half. Yes we are further behind Birmingham. Yes we have dropped below Steve Bruce's new team. Its a blow for the ego. However Derby and Bristol City both lost so in terms of our chance of making the play offs things could not have gone any better.
If we beat Derby this weekend and Bristol City lose to Preston we will only be 5 points off the play offs. Derby are out of form and we have Grealish back. Other teams still have a game in hand but Tuanzebe should be back from injury soon and there is still enough games to turn things around.

After reading & contributing to last summers Vila thread I for one won’t think they are out of contention until mathematically impossible.

This championship has shown me anything is possible. If they beat Derby then Forest this week then bollocks might start getting concerned about how edible they are.

& before anyone says it no I am not some Villa cnut. Just a realist/pessimist when it comes to their luck.

If anyone is lucky enough, it's them. I think another 2 losses this week though, and they are done. Here's hoping.

Agreed another loss maybe and it’s all over. Just worry that two wins in a week this week & their tails are back up. Particularly now the Greasy one back.
