Wonder what their wage bill is compared to ours?
Spot on.

We put our eggs in two baskets: two players with a handful of Prem games and accounted for pretty much all the budget. Fuck every other gaping hole in the team.

The fact we play a system that Diangana doesn’t fit into is laughable.

Andersen, Aina and Tete all on big contracts. We can’t compete financially with them and that’s why all the players we would potentially like such as Andersen or Robinson go to them
So they used their budget to fund short term wages rather than transfer fees of players who aren’t in their team. Looking a good move isn’t it?

True but even so we couldn’t afford them. Here is the list of their weekly wages. Even Tosin is on 60k https://www.spotrac.com/epl/fulham-fc/payroll/

You mean like we did against moneybags Chelsea and were 3-0 up at half time?

We can afford £65k/week for Ivanovic but not Tosin?

If we hadn’t wasted millions on transfer fees and the wages of signings who don’t play we probably could.

So Fulham’s overall wage budget for 20/21 season is $52 million and ours is $28 million. Hard to compete I’d say.

Ivanovic is on £38k a week. Not sure where you get £65k figure. Here are our wages https://www.spotrac.com/epl/west-bromwic...c/payroll/

How many of our players would get in Fulham's side? One or two maybe?

Depressing.

£66,500/week per a footballeaguefc.com link a mate sent a few weeks back. Nobody knows players’ wages unless they are hacked or leaked so this is all guesswork.

However, supposing your link is right, the table shows us all we need to know: only Johnstone of the first 8 to 10 is a first teamer. Millions per year wasted on players that our head coach either didn’t want or they ended up being not good enough. Either way, shocking recruitment.
