I guess with loans being so prevalent now that adds to it.

Yep.

The ‘one that got away’ for me, was Thievy Bifouma.

Menseguez 2009 for me mate

2 starts for Blanco for us. Who against?

His debut was the 0-2 home defeat against Everton.

It was. Bloody awful game

Think he played in the Hull Cup game win too.

Actually.... take it back, it’s actually his first ever competitive goal.... despite being an AMC and being 32... except one he scored for Argentina Big Grin

Go get him back Ken...

Doubt even Manc would recall this lad’s time with us.

This would disagree with you

14 competitive goals for Metalist Kharkiv including 2 in the Europa League and 1 in the Champions League qualifiers, 9 for San Lorenzo and 32 for Portland including 24 in the MLS.

It seems I very much fell for his elaborately edited Wiki :Big Grin

It did feel odd, but having seen him in the flesh, I can understand him having never scored! Big Grin

Thievy must hold the record for fastest debut goal...

I loved Menseguez but think we’ve shared that love affair before.

Reckon his other start was probably the next round defeat at Bournemouth... where AFI thought Chris Baird was a right winger.

I'm sure he started just behind the strikers when we lost at Bournemouth in the last 16/QF od the league cup

I remember going and AFI made a host of changes and unsurprisingly we weren't good enough
