Lindsay - centre back from Barnsley
Cousins - defensive mid from QPR
Powell - attacking mid from Wigan
Gregory - forward from Millwall

Only Smith (£4m) and Lindsey (£2.5m) have cost us a fee.

If these posters transferred to the Stoke boreds they'd be kicking up a right fuss at the amount Stoke have spent, do you have serious doom mongers over them parts? Or are most happy?

We've spent bugger all this time because we spaffed £50m up the wall last season.

I wouldn't call the Oatcake a happy board at the moment. I'd say it's 70% prepared to see how it pans out and hoping for the best, with 30% almost hoping everything crashes and burns so they can be proved right. Who has the upper hand depends entirely on the last result.

I’d say the ratio is about 50:50 on here.

Completely forgot Leeds got Costa from some no cuntybollockFFPbreakingwankers, Harrison on loan from Man City(and they spunked £250k on McCaron)

As of 3 days ago seven of the champ teams had spent no money. (Derby, Fulham, Wednesday, Swansea, Boro, Preston & Reading)

Reckon they may have a soft embargo??

It just seems that way because they post more, knowing that it annoys everyone else.

It's a no lose situation for them. If everything goes tits up they can make a big show of how they've been proven right. If all goes well they slip under the radar with a cheery "happy to have been proved wrong" comment.

There are a number on the Oatcake who've had it in for Nathan Jones from day one, partly because of his religious beliefs, but mainly because they see him as a lower league manager. They're desperate for him to fail. Utter morons.

Fire and brimstone christian. He has God on his side for the most part, except apparently when we take penalties when God's lesser known sibling Fuxache steps in.

The lower league thing would definitely have been a factor here had we gone for Cowley amongst the ‘just fucking appoint someone’ meltdowns and daily counting of days without a manager.

Seems we need a constant count nowadays, as that’s immediately been replaced by the number of goals that need replacing. Fuck knows what we’ll do if we sign a couple this week. Probably argue about how many they’re going to score!
