Portable WiFi router advice

Anyone had any experience with these? I’m looking at getting one for my holiday to Spain as possibly going to need to run 3 devices through it.

Due to my Luddite nature I’m not really sure what I’m doing. I understand I need an unlocked one so can use any type of SIM.  However this is where I get a bit confused re the SIM. I don’t want to tie myself into a monthly payment. Would just like to get a one off a sim to use for the 10 days I’m away with my family. Not going to be streaming films. My daughter may watch iplayer.

Any recommendations for this would be appreciated

Thanks in advance.

Not sure re the device but if you get a pay as you go sim on the Three network you can use data in Spain for no extra cost

Does iplayer work in Spain? It certainly used to be georestricted, so this might not work at all

Get a pay as you go SIM topped up with enough data for the whole holiday (High Def films / Shows can use up a few GBs on their own!). iPlayer definitely is region locked, so you may want to see about a VPN that allows you to select a UK server to get around it...You may be able to find a free trial or something...

I've never used one personally, but something like this sounds like what you want:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-Portabl...9986&psc=1

£26 too so not overly expensive...Although it appears to use a USB 3G/4G adapter rather than a SIM card.
