Based on what?
I’ve read back the prediction thread btw.
You sound like a Blues fan you describe. And you didn’t pull Albion fans up for predicting 4-0 defeats Wink

Nowt to do with the pre-match prediction, ore the wahhh wahhh wahhh wahhh ref didn't give us this, ref didn't dnt give us that.

You're not as good as Wrexham this season so we get it must hurt. Serious seal levels of delusion in some of them posts, hence why I questioned if they've been cherry picked as most noses are pretty grounded, or they used to be. Maybe they've got pottery chimneys up their arses these days?

Serious question, (manc will know), when was the last season we drew both games? I can't remember many... I do remember our glorious double in 86 Big Grin : D

Tricky that. Think you are going back to the early 80s

0-0 at St Andrews a rarity. Happened in the league cup in 1984/85 but don’t recall another

Albion drew 0-0 with Blues twice in the league in the same month according to my research. Name that year. Your grandad would probably have had to tell the oldest person on here about it.

Exactly - not in my lifetime.

8% on Nose sites

I see what you did there

No cherry picking. While I might not always post every single match day prediction, I select a representative overview. The majority thought they would batter us, with the occasional 2 - 1 and someone with genuine foresight who said 0-0.

All the other comments are everything that was said about the Albion in three threads. One pre match, one in-match and a post-match one to bleat about the refs.

About half of those comments are pretty fair I think, commend our tenacity, our pressing and say we had the better of the game for 60-70 mins. Very fair.

The other half... less said about them the better. Very Seal like.

I love the one that quoted the referee on Sky explaining it wasn't a penalty, getting shouted down by fans saying it was, purely because they want it to be. As for Gray standing 2 yards offside in front of the keeper? Apparently that shouldnt be offside!!! If I'd headed that in I'd have strangled Gray for being an idiot. Straw clutching AOTS. Goal line clearance? That's what he's paid for. Saves by the keeper? That's his job. Not a word about blues' numerous misplaced passes and defenders skewing balls out of play. Blues weren't good enough and that hurts them because from the opening predictions, they expected a comfortable win.

With the money they’ve spent I’d expect a far better quality than what they’ve shown against us not once but twice. The lump of a centre half would get torn to shreds in the Prem. They would pretty much have to buy an entire new squad to compete if they went up this season. I’m sure with the money they have they can, but compared to ours and Villa’s squad a few years ago in the play-offs Blues are way off similar quality.
