Last night's ref...

Just watched the highlights. I'm surprised the ref didn't take action against a couple of the Bloose players after Taylor's foul. One in particular got involved in pushing and shoving Mowatt. Should have been a yellow or two for their petulant reaction.

After seeing the players' petulance and hearing the Blue-nose commentary last night, I've relegated the Blues to the same pit of hell as the Vile. No more Mr. Nice Guy from me. Miserable deluded tossers.

Blues fans are always ‘humble and amiable’ when they are bumbling along but as soon as they get a sniff of money and ‘success’ they suddenly become inexplicably arrogant. It happened when Sullivan and the Golds were throwing money at the club during the Trevor Francis years and it’s cranked up to 11 now that they have money to spend again.

I suspect that if there's a View from their fans will complain about our physicality, like every other set of fans has done... so maybe, maybe we are more physical than we like to think? I've never seen it though, but it's been a consistent thing on the view froms pretty much all season.

I was chatting to a Blues fan at my girls football training, and he reminded me of the Harry Enfield character... "We're considerably richer than you"

I can imagine the dislike of them intensifying as their owners continue to throw the cash at the project, and elements of their fanbase start lording it over the likes of us.

I thought the ref did make more 50 / 50 calls in their favour last night, and there was no consistency, but that's what I see in most games I watch these days. It's rare to say that the ref had a good game.

The celebration police were well out in force but I think they fail to remember than Blues spent a decade playing like we did last night and finishing 20th in this league before the money arrived.

Tbh mate plenty have said we didn’t do enough to win even though for the last 20 odd minutes only one team was going to win it. No drama with any team celebrating what they like btw.
Our lot are pretty much like every other lot (bar the cunts from B6) though. Some good, some bad, some downright ugly.

I'll let you off, you're pretty reasonable on most things other than Tony Mowbray  Big Grin

I’ll just remind you that your points per game has got worse since he left. And without the joy of hammering the odd team occasionally. I reckon if he’d have had pre season you wouldn’t be in a relegation battle.
This’ll get Arkwright frothing at the gash Big Grin

Mowbray had a much better squad and managed to throw away an organised defence and turn it into chaos in a matter of weeks. Wouldn’t have been so bad if he had us scoring.

You’re ignoring the point I made . Conveniently. We’re talking post Mowbray. Not pre Mowbray.

Mowbray did well when we had the most money to spend in the Championship. When he didn’t, it didn’t go well.

And you didn’t enjoy either.
And he did better than others who also didn’t have money.
Again you’re swerving the point, Derek
