I used to walk past the statue every day for a few years and give it a tap.
All I remember is him being my hero. I don’t think when you’re really young you even see colour, until the world teaches you to, but I’m forever glad what that man & the club did for how I saw it when it does

A hero of mine (the only none family picture up in my study) and a pioneer of his time. An inspiration to us all.

Every time his birthday or anniversary comes around I am always reminded how young he was when he went. Even at 68 he still should have had many years ahead of him.
Didn't get to see him play unfortunately, but I remember listening to WM the day he died and listening to all the memories. It's clear he holds a special place for a lot of people and one of the last to hold that "hero" status for a lot of Albion fans.

My favourite Albion player and hero.
Laurie was the best I ever saw but Cyrille is my favourite.

The only bloke in a wolves shirt to ever be applauded on the Hawthorns pitch.
