Mandelson

It took him a week and it was a resignation. McSweeney should have been the day after Mandelson was binned. This is not confidence inspiring as to Starmer's competence in the slightest.

You prefer knee jerk reactions rather than calm analysis and then act on the options

Starmer might be a little too boring and light on fairy tales for you, but he (or tbh anyone that would have lead the party through the last election) is exactly what the country needs at the momen (not changing), whether the country knows that or not.

I'd say he needs to get rid of Reeves and take a different tax approach, but maybe McSweeney going is the start of the next phase.

Your posts drip with condescension, and yet I’ve been more accurate than you have with your reading of politics over the past two years.

You are waiting for some ‘fairytale’ ending, where all those voters Starmer’s principle and conviction free leadership has lost/never really had will vote for him in a few years time.

Keep believing that dreams still come true, the only way Labour get back in power is with a Lib or Green pact via a hung parliament or with a new leader.

Btw you haven’t once previously criticised McSweeney which says a lot for your political judgment and yet now he’s gone, you’re throwing him under the bus. Anything to defend Starmer..

This thread was originally created by myself back in October. I knew something like this would happen in October. It happened. I am not a clairvoyant. It is now February. That is not "knee-jerk".

You'll struggle to find where I've said anything about McSweeney I would imagine. And your 'reading of politics' (fucks sake mon, take a listen to yourself) is basically I want change because everything is shit. Reaing that everything is shit hardly makes you the greatest political mind of the era.

I think you may have misread my post. I wasn't suggesting that you would have a knee jerk reaction, I suggested that the PM didn't take one.

The market suggests otherwise.

The most disturbing thing isn’t Starmer, much like the US, it’s shocking that we have had such a poor set of options for leader for so many years.

Cameron somehow looks like a titanic statesman with what has passed since he fucked everything up

You say this the week of the FTSE 250 and FTSE 100 trending downwards in reversal of their recent trends? Seriously?
