Yes. It was already known that Mandelson was friendly with Epstein before Starmer made him a very rare politically appointed ambassador to the United States as all just being just generally dodgy. Stuff was leaked about Mandelson being weirdly close to Epstein, Starmer and Number 10 defended him even after Mandelson said worse could come out, Starmer was made an absolute fool of at PMQs today, more stuff comes out this evening. Now Starmer either keeps him on as ambassador and tanks his already faltering credibility (especially after the line coming from Number 10 saying that people that oppose the Online Safety Act are friends of paedophiles) or he sacks him and pisses off Trump by adding legitimacy to the WSJ's Epstein leaks (there's a reason why it's the Sun and Times leading on this, all three are Murdoch's outfits).
That is Liz Truss levels of entirely avoidable political idiocy.

I'm sure Blair said the same thing in 1998 yet here we are 27 years later and this is the third Labour PM that Mandelson's conduct has made a fool of now. And it was entirely avoidable by not appointing the dodgy man with links to a paedophile, but that's too hard apparently.

Mandelson was a terrible appointment, and Starmer is reaping the rewards of a very poor decision.
I never had high expectations for this Govt, but i did think that they would be competent, boy was i wrong.
