Mark Miles is back

Has to be good news that he’s back. Presumably hadn’t found another gig yet if immediately available.

I cant see this as anything but Positive.
He has seen how good it can be with Jezza, How bad it can get under Lai - hes had a break from it all and probably comes in with Renewed Enthusiasm.

What we should remember about Miles is that he helped oversee Patel buying the club, he was also involved in bringing Carlos to the Albion, he knows what he’s doing in the role he’s been given, he’s well respected by all at the Hawthorns and I think will certainly let the head coach have a say in all things football wise.
Good move Shilen now let’s get that TA or whatever you want to call him though the door.

I think there will be a lot more positivity around the Hawthorns with this appointment. Time will tell.

Exactly this - Pity it wasn't at the beginning of the season, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Onwards and upwards, although a performance with a semblance of cohesion and commitment tomorrow would help to expedite the forward momentum.

I welcome Mark back as a steady and experienced hand who has a genuine affinity for the club. I must admit that I did used to wonder what he did, as most of our directors had basically become faceless.

I also want to say a kind word about Andrew Nestor as most people here have been out with torches and pitchforks wanting to metaphorically lynch him. I have no doubt that everything he did was what he thought would be in the best interests of the Club and he also did his utmost (as has Shilen) to immerse himself in the culture of the Club. I wish him all the best going forward, and hope that he's still part of Bilkul and hasn't fallen out with Shilen completely.
