Monday was always going to be a tense team meeting. I wonder if we're going to see a Megson-style "bomb squad", with players frozen out completely? I'm guessing Mikey is vulnerable because he's good but doesn't fit the system, Molumby because he will no doubt tell Ramsay what he thinks, and maybe Price because he seems a mardy twat and we have two potential replacements.

It's not helpful to have strife between players and coach. Barmy Bobby's team slid spinelessly into Division Three and worked very hard to stay there with a 7th place finish. Darren Bradley has always claimed "we were good enough to get promoted". More recently, Pardew was never taken seriously by the players - look how that turned out. Worrying times.

None of us have any idea what happened regarding any player willing to sell who knows he wanted to stay who knows, big bust up because we wouldn’t let him leave who knows,  Molumby bust up who knows. Yes we’re in a bad way at the moment but it looks like a lot of you are enjoying it.
Get behind the club instead of making out all these conspiracy theories.

Don't be an idiot 13, no-one is enjoying this. You're taking out your frustration on posters having a chat about their club. Calm down, man!

Can't criticise the club, can't do silly rhymes.  It's a narrow church, that wba13 inhabits.

I'd be sat on the pew next to him. This place was nigh on unreadable yesterday, as it was full of one joke threads.

And yes, some posters are definitely enjoying our current plight.

I think you're confusing gallows humour with enjoyment tbh.

The local press said the club told Sheff Utd he was not for sale. Nothing that the Turkush club put in a formal offer. Could be they sounded him out and he said no.

I definitely hope there's a bomb squad. I hope MJ isn't in it.

Don't be silly - Shilen has obviously been touting Mikey round to all and sundry. Get with with the hysteria!  Rolleyes

Really? Our squad is so thin we really don't have the resources for freezing out anybody at the moment as much I'd rather never have to watch the likes of Charlie Taylor again.

As for possibly selling Mikey Johnston, since Fellows left the entire burden of creativity in our team has fallen on him and he's been one of the very few bright spots this year. To even consider flogging him would have been utter madness and really would leave us without even a glimmer of hope to stay up.

It’s hardly a conspiracy theory and a totally valid point to make. It’s not a wild rumour.
It’s stated that he turned them down which begs the question why did we not snub the offer rather than the player have a choice.
What a stupid reaction. Let’s all smile and act like it’s roses in the garden.
Ok where is it stated he turned them down, where is it stated we had an offer for him where is it stated he threw a paddy at not being allowed to leave and where is it stated Molumby walked out of training.
All this is hearsay probably from some idiot o X or Facebook with nothing better to do with his time.
Not one of you can show me its facts  every other Thread at present just comes across as as being against anything Albion and yes I will always defend the club because lots of you posters just enjoy knocking them.

You are coming across incredibly sanctimonious and a bit stupid too, because anyone with sense can check if the sources of information are credible.
It’s in the Express & Star about Johnston so it’s a legitimate source where they check their facts. Adrian Goldberg has mentioned it too.
That’s a world of difference to some random making out on here there’s a training ground bust up.

Club told interested parties he wasn't for sale by most accounts.
