Sadly the only thing we've learned about Ramsay is that he's very confident in his own big idea. I can't see him changing his setup, no matter how often the donkeys at the back let him down. Hope I'm wrong - or of course that it all just gels and the players stop looking like they've never met.

We'll have to wait and see, but I'm not sure his post-match interview after Portsmouth fits with your hypothesis.

I must admit when I saw that yesterday I thought it's fucking typical of our luck that. He's been out in Turkey though so not sure what he's like this season. Was half decent for Sheffield Utd last term. He doesn't half like a loan.....

Fine to play 4 defenders in a line.

Just can't play 2 of the usual three in CM if they do. As it's been proven it doesn't work.

I played in goal for  Sunday league side, count me in as well.

I played CB, after converting from a CF in the Birmingham Works League for 3 years until I broke my wrist, badly, was off work for 4 months without pay. My wife then suggested I stop playing. Guess what I did, I'm still married after 51 years. But I reckon I could still be in with a shout of replacing Mepham.
