Do you mean half-sarcastic and half not, or actually sarcastic but with a semi?

Actually surprised Reeves hasn’t made it onto a (now) 12-pager not far from here.

Prediction: Inflation won’t return to target within the current Parliament. So why does the BoE and OBR continually argue that it will?

Rachel Reeves: "It is not right that people who don't go to university bear the cost for others to."
Wow. A so called Labour Chancellor. Does she not understand that taxes are not hypothecated.
OK, I don't drive and it's not right that I pay tax for road upkeep
I don't have kids so it's not right that I pay for other people's kids to go to school.

She's sounding like an anti socialist libertarian. Centrist dads and grown ups must be proud.

Tuition fees Scotland £0
Tuition fees Ireland 2.5k euro

These are political choices.

This so called Labour government needs fucking off.

MICS - do fuck off with the centrist dads commentary

I’d, as a centrist dad, be really looking at tuition fees, and more importantly looking at the longer term repayment costs and interest for students if they want to follow that route. However the days of everyone going to Uni to get the start in life are long gone and we need to rethink the whole apprentishop / university output and what best suits the youngsters

Holland, Spain, Germany, italy etc

These are political choices.

And fuck off with the centrist dad commentary. Not exactly delivering anything is it?. Bar Reform topping the polls.

There is a simple solution to the outrageous Tuition Fees trap. Impose a Graduate Tax for ALL graduates.

Though I can’t see that being popular with centrist Dads and grandads who benefitted from free University education.

Why they didn't do this in the first place, I will never know. Surely far cheaper from an administrative perspective and wouldn't be as off-putting to potential students.
