For the record, my uncle, a dyed in the wool Tory, based in Cheshire, works with him regularly and has nothing but the highest regard for him.

I think I’ll take that reference over yours

I’m sure that professional Northerner schtick goes down well locally. However there is a reason he’s failed twice before to become leader. The last thing the country needs is another soft left leader steering us into something much worse by 2029.

That’s the point really, it isn’t a schtick. He delivers what he says he will.

For the record, I don’t disagree that it would be a bad move for Labour to make this change, particularly at the moment. But your assertion that he operates under some sort of facade is plain wrong. And if that is your concern about a person it raises the question of how you bought yourself to campaign for a party led by Boris Johnson.

All outcomes in 2029 look awful at the moment.

I’ve told you before I’m never voting Labour whilst Starmer and his awful advisers lead a right wing rump of the party to the exclusion of the rest. Starmer is a coward let’s be honest.

That wasn’t the question - you appear to endorse Andy B for 1stly being an MP and then onward to making a leadership challenge. It’s reasonable to ask what it is that you see in his policies that would mean changing not just the leadership of the party, but the country as well.
