I think we get that you don’t like him.

For the record, my uncle, a dyed in the wool Tory, based in Cheshire, works with him regularly and has nothing but the highest regard for him.

I will take the opinion of the majority of the population of Manchester over a lost Tory Kipper. Thanks for your opinion though.

The NEC aren't going to let Burnham stand.

Would be a mistake to block him. "better in the tent......" for me.

Might get the blood flowing a bit for labour voters currently feeling at best ambivalent about Starmer's Labour.

And if a voter is small minded and twisted enough to consider Farage a potential leader, I don't think having Burnham in or out of the Labour party will really be impacting that decision.
