But it was a hard watch

We average between 50 and 60 percent possession now and it's a hard watch

Tbf, the less some of our chaps are in possession of the ball, the safer it feels

But it was a god awful watch

From what I've gathered on the Minnesota forums, he might be playing a counter attacking style due to personnel rather than ideology.

It is RamsAy.   Just remember there are no E's in his name.

It's the reverse of remembering that the e in stationery stands for envelope, and stationary is the pose that Wildsmith takes up when a shot comes in.

Glad to help.

Eric.

The big positive for me is that his age is the only similarity with Mason. I like the fact he chose the US to learn his trade as he realised managers tend to get more time there than in the EFL. I respect the fact he didn't take our job mid-season and I everything I read points to the fact that he is pragmatic and works with what he has rather than coming with a predetermined 'game model'.

Realistically I want to see three things.

1) Can he organise us, we don't keep clean sheets and can be settled on a consistent defence.
2) Will he improve what we have. There is potential in the likes of Campbell, Price, Whitwell, Heggebo. Can he make them better or get the best out of them.
3) Can he find regular places for Parker, Mohammed, Whitwell and Bostock on matchdays. They've got potential, can they get some minutes.

To add to the above:
4) Will he keep us up?
5) Will he work with what we've got and play square pegs in square holes?

Fingers crossed.

Finally, I always knew Madge as Madge Bishop. Must be a generational thing.

I think the system he's adopted in Minnesota would indicate he's very much a round pegs in round holes manager.

Can't wait for the tactical debate surrounding what's more effective. A square peg for a square hole or a round peg for a round hole. Next International break perhaps  Big Grin .
