Sandwell Councillor defects to Reform

As I have said my views are not for here as freedom of speech is a thing of the past, how sad.

Freedom of speech is only limited in the US from what I've seen, you are fully entitled to any view but you also have to accept that others are too and they may challenge your views.

I don't believe that's true. It's just that there are too many on here who refuse to see the wood for the trees.

I get the impression that most posters on this part of the board are relatively comfortable MCWs and wholly unreflective of society and its views at large.

One of the most disarming utterances on the doorstep for whoever I might have campaigned for over a couple of decades was "you don't know what it's like here" or "you don't live here" particularly when talking about housing struggles, ASB, failing schools etc. It's true, I don't - not anymore. And in my experience the various MCWs who campaign for parties of the left are even more clueless.

I believe in free speech and accept that other people will have different views but I believe that free speech is now a thing of the past.

I'm still not certain how Reform will solve any of the problems listed above

They'll make you feel proud again.  The country will grow a backbone.  We will be taken seriously as a country again.  Streets will be cleaner.  Roadmen and gangsters will cower under the ruthless glare of Nigel.  Hugo Boss suits for everyone of true British lineage.

How will we fund it? By printing the Human Rights Act on toilet paper and selling it on ebay to patriots.

UK Rangers are a Premiership team that are heading for relegation. Their defence is ok but they're not scoring goals. They have 3 centre forwards on their books and have tried 2 of them. CF1 had a long run of games didn't score very many. CF2 was on the bench during this time telling everyone he was the answer to the goal drought. Finally he got his chance and is in the team now but failing to score and looks as bad or even possibly worse. CF3 is a loud mouthed untried lad from the reserves that the crowd are all calling to get a go in the side because it's worth the risk as they look like going down anyway. He might save them from relegation or he might make things worse. That's the gamble

They won't and they can't unless they radically restructure the state. Given the evidence of who's been elected for Reform so far I doubt they're capable of that,
