Sadly, like my naive hope in Mason, I haven't given up.

Tax rises, reimbursing WASPI women and scrapping the 2 child benefit will mark some progress at last. All things that they could have done from day 1, had they not ridiculously boxed themselves in.

Wouldn't scrapping the 2 child cap just wind up people even more? Personally couldn't afford to have more than 2 kids so we stuck with 2. Not sure voters will be happy that their taxes are increasing to fund those who've chosen to have more kids.

I’ve no issue with it. As has been pointed out elsewhere, when you have so many below the poverty line the eventual costs (crime, health, social mobility) just end up transferring elsewhere

Replies poster who frequently dragged me into threads and even replied to me when it was someone else who responded and carried on even when it was pointed out to them. 

You still haven’t answered the points I made about what plans were put in place to help the genuinely disabled who would have been deemed capable of work, when companies will not/cannot not employ them, companies fail to address their access needs and there is no support for business’s to employ them. It’s all well and good you making yourself feel less Tory thinking cuts will only affect people who are conning the system (millions rent free in your head apparently) but what was the plan for those who can’t get a job through no fault of own? When you said the original plan was reform and backed it, they were just cuts which is why the decent Labour MPs and party members couldn’t back the proposals.

On another note how well do you think Starmer and his merry band of advisers are doing?

Looks like Reeves and Starmer have dropped the idea of an income tax rises after opposition from Labour backbenchers over breaking election promises. They will just follow the Tory trick of freezing the bandings so more people are sucked into the higher tax bracket.

My view all Labour have to do
Is stop people just wandering into the country
Build new homes quicker
Sort out our high streets and protect pubs
Make it worthwhile to go to work ( if that means the lazy fuckers get less so be it)
Do a proper reform of the NHS
Make teaching a aspiring profession again
Join up the transport system
