Clever ploy by Reeves. Get fired so she doesn't have to deliver her "tax them even more and make them bleed" budget.

Lots of whataboutery. They are all up to their necks in it.

No whataboutery, I’m no supporter of this incarnation of the Labour cabinet. I’m just intrigued to see how former Tory voters and Brexiteers seem to think Reform would be better, given their dubious record so far in local government.

I asked the same the other week Derk but no one can answer.

It’s gonna be a long few years. A small part of me hopes Reform gets a majority, I can pop the #cans from afar and watch the same disaster that Brexit was for the hard of thinking

So it was the estate agent's fault then.

Who'd have thought that an estate agent would screw something up?

This was described as a 'bait post' earlier, despite now being the main political story of the week. Further evidence (e-mails apparently) has now come to light, so the 'independent' ethics adviser cleared her of wrong doing following contrition and a heartfelt apology, without properly investigating, asking for all relevant documentation etc. Even if she is vindicated by the new evidence this has turned into yet another crisis for this beleaguered PM.

Ethics advisor is a conservative and was robust in his approach to the Rayner case.

Careful your blue undergarments are showing.

Who'd of thought that the right-wing (and sheep-like media) would try to whip this up into a frenzy despite it actually not being anything of note.

Move on to the next thing, like proper scrutiny of Farage and his cronies. I'm sure there are skeletons in those cupboards that would actually be worthwhile to discover and report on...
