I too would like to see a Heggebo & Maja experiment, possibly vs Norwich who hasn't exactly got the best defence in the world.

How fit is he really? I noticed after he had been chasing the ball he looked knackered and was breathing heavily. Might be that he is still some time away from starting.

Something is not quite right, is it? If he's not entirely fit, which is my thinking as of now, then why is he on the bench? It doesn't make sense. Either he's fully fit and in the squad, or he's injured and should be left out of the squad.

If he's fully fit, then he needs to get a lot more minutes. I'm happy with Heggebø starting over him, he's been quality so far for us, but Maja has to get more game time if he's available.

This is where I question lazy journalism from the club. Why hasn't this question been asked of Mason? I think we all would like to know if his limited minutes and lack of selection is tactical, or whether there's an underlying issue.

Let us know!

I think Maja is perfect for a roll whereby he flips between a 10 and 2nd striker. Move Price to the left, where he plays for Ireland, and play Mikey on the right.

Don't disagree however Mikey is far more affective on the left. As is Grant, as is IJ.....

There in lies the issue on why Jed keeps starting. We are lopsided as a squad.

He took ages to get back fit from the Ballard injury. Like now, was on the bench for the final bunch of games but only played a few minutes and had to drop into the 21s. Frustrating as we really need him

Steve Hermon asked him directly post-Derby and he didn't answer.

If Maja needs to get his confidence back, there's sadly not much else we can do but be patient. I agree that I'd like to see Heggebø and Maja together on the pitch at home.

I didn't know he'd been asked. Odd that he wouldn't answer. Not even a fobbing off excuse?

Something doesn't seem right with the situation.

I would imagine that Maja is technically fit, but not fully “match fit”. He just needs a good pre season…

There may be a confidence in the injury that he just needs to get over and realise every twinge isn’t a relapse.

Maybe it is a mentality thing with Maja. But, say Heggebo got injured after 5 minutes, he would have to come in. What we really need is a fit Bany and Dike. Would give us more options, but I for one ain't holding my breath.
