Wot I am watching now

Eric fucking Pickles should have been jailed for his contempt of the inquiry alone. Instead he got a seat in the fucking Lords.
Fat Useless Bastard.

I know this might sound really boring and technical, but I'm still waiting for someone to explain how these materials got into the supply chain for residential developments when they were proscribed not by Building Regs but by insurance companies when I was building warehouses in the 2000s. If the insurance industry wouldn't underwrite the risk on big tin sheds, then how on Earth did any of these residential blocks get insured?

After seeing someone recommend Landman we’ve given it a go and I never thought it would be my kind of series but pleasantly surprised, very good, gritty side of the oil industry, look forward to series 2 with Sam Elliot joining too

Going to see it on Friday evening, can't beat a bit of Scarlett Johansson, phwoar.

I'm with you Jacko, some series are just not geared for binge watching. If you watch once a week, with other stuff in between, it's less noticeable, but, one after the other, they become very repetitive.
I've been watching Tires on Netflix and that's the same. Quite funny, but, watch more than 2 in a row and it's just the same skit re-hashed.

Based on this and other recommendations, I gave it a go. 2 episodes in and I'm well in to it. Very enjoyable.

Finished watching The Agency last night.

It was OK,  but they mistake complexity for cleverness and it was hard to follow with some very unlikely military scenes in Ukraine at the end.  Overall a bit far-fetched.

I also went to Clarkson's  pub "The Farmer's Dog" for lunch yesterday,  and report this fact,  just to wind up some self-righteous indignation amongst the Clarkson  haters on this board.

On arrival we were faced with a car park similar to the Long Stay Car Park 1 at  BHX, containing about 250 vehicles.

Assuming each vehicle had at least two occupants,  you can imagine the queues at the pub, and the tent, and the toilets,  and just about any other structure where fans could take selfies.

We left rapidly and had a very nice lunch in the garden at the Inn for All Seasons on the Burford Road.

I'll just go and get the popcorn.

Halfway through Department Q on Netflix. First couple of episodes were just bizarre, but the fourth we watched last night was much better and gets you into it.

Mad Men is on the list for when we've finished that.

Mad Men is very good. Takes a bit to get into it but the characters are so good.
Trying to watch 1923 currently, it's growing on me but ( up to episode4 so far), I'm struggling with the brutality of the Indian school.
