I really hope we have more sense than to sign Holgate.

Has very few attributes to be a consistent defender. Has some decent technical attributes, but seems to have zero game intelligence.

Holgate never reached his full potential and has gone downhill hats why he's ended up with us imo. It makes no sense to sign him as he will never have a sell on value.
I'd rather given Taylor a go and saved the wages.

A massive no from me on Holgate. Terrible at centre half imo. An ok right back back up option but if we are spending money on wages I'm disappointed if he's the best our scouting data can find. Surely there's free transfers AOTS better.
