totally agree.  I see the end of the last episode was homage to  Noel Coward's triumph whilst in jail  in the Italian Job.

All in all it was probably more realistic than some of the nonsense Guy Ritchie has produced.

I'm also watching True Detective with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey.  Very dark and weird stuff.  Not sure what's happening next.

Landman is proving to be good entertainment.
I started True Detective in full binge mode but lapsed and gave it up after Mathew McC and Woody dropped out. Last week I finally tried Better Call Saul. I know it's an oldie but it's still bloody good. Got through series 1 last week and looking forward to the rest.

Some of the best, that.

4 episodes in and decent so far. Kelly Reilly butt naked most definitely the high point!
Watch 1923 if you haven’t seen it, excellent! Also 1883

I found watching 1883 and 1923 helped me understand Yellowstone more. I gave up on it after 2 episides but after watching the other 2 I tried again and got in to it.

Some people are complaining that prices have jumped, £24 for a steak pie and veg. Clarkson replied it's the price of beef, I looked it up and he's right it's probably 35% up on last year. Others said it was a really good meal and well worth it, I await your review Big Grin

Tbh I expected his prices to be higher given the pubs location and 'fame'.

I used to get a top of the range fillet steak in Lidl for about £5.75.  They are nearly £8 now.  Pubs are generally charging about £30 for a steak these days so I cook my own at home.

The Baytree in Kinver charge £28.50 for a fillet steak.  I had a meal there last week and I have to say that the food was excellent.  I had the lamb.
