What point are you trying to make though Josh? Who are you trying to blame?
He left of his own accord against the wishes of most fans and those running the club.
It’s ok to follow his future career and want him to do well, but there really is no point to prove.

For the first time in years, all the players looked fit and all the players knew their jobs and particularly at home, we could see out a match fairly effortlessly. Win, lose or draw, whenever he spoke about a match, he had always seen the same match I had. For two glorious years, I rarely disagreed with the team selection, or anything for that matter. We had one of the best managers available.
But no, that wasn't good enough for some of our fans who started bleating and crying about Pulis.
I knew we'd lose him at some point this season, but I didn't realise all his hard work would be so quickly discarded.
I had to check I hadn't written that! We were so organised it appeared effortless. The times the opposition broke our lines and yet two minutes later had squared, passed back, ran out of options with the ball back once more in their own half. We rarely looked like losing and the draws were always bossed by Albion. Personally I never found it boring, it could be frustrating if a team really sat deep and we couldn't find the goal to make them change their game but all sides see that happen.
I found it boring at times, I find Pepball boring in general it has to be said. I admired the organisation of Cc but I despaired at the double standards of fans who berated Pulis for similar defensive organisation against far better opposition.
I can’t remember one person on here who wanted CC sacked I remember people hoping he would be less rigid in his approach as it did feel over coached at times. There can be a balance struck between defensive organisation and allowing players a little more freedom, not to mention better set pieces and what we are seeing currently. There is no comparison. Under Corberan we always tried to win, under Pulis we tried to not lose. The against better opposition thing isn't relevant as Albion also had a much better team then. The point I made was referring to teams that sit deep and frustrate. Both 1st halves of our last 2 home games are examples that this happens to all clubs and is hardly related to Corberan. Whether you are Liverpool or you are Walsall, scoring a goal changes that and rule 1 should always be do not concede. The over riding point made was simply that we were a well drilled side, with every player giving 100% effort and rarely looked like losing yet that wasn't enough for a few. The changes we have seen since have not solved the problem but have created a different one. I suppose some might find it more interesting though.

Watching them now. The Yellow Submarine are flying high in the top 5 and are at home. They haven't laid a glove on Valencia yet. Hate to say it, but I'm so terribly jealous.
Haha. Villarreal score a worldy out of nowhere.

Haha. Villarreal score a worldy out of nowhere. Just equalised, out of the relegation zone. It is like stalking the bird who chucked you on Facebook and being jealous of her new love

You can only work with what you have.CC did that. TM more attacking so leaves gaps at back. Ok. Armstrong playing out wide for us seems nonsense as he our main goalscorer with Maja out and Dike coming back in. Maybe he scored plenty goals from there under Mowbray at past clubs??
We are where we are. Good luck Tony, but you are not the future we would all like to see.

No shame in losing to Athletico Madrid.
In fact he's only lost to Barca, Real and Athletico despite also having played Sevilla, Villareal, Celta Vigo, Betis at a club that were well and truly gone before.
