I am talking about attacking patterns of play. Not defensive structure.
Both side of the game need drilling and coaching consistently. Or else you end up with a Sam Allardyce/David Moyse/Sean Dyche style. Well drilled off the ball but depending on individuals to win games.
No one is saying the team don’t need coaching. But you seem to believe that drilling players is more important than player confidence. What Collier and I are saying is there is already the basis of a team structure both in attack and defence and if Mowbray thinks it only needs “tweaking” I trust his instincts rather than yours. He’s made it clear that he believes several of the players were lackiing confidence and restoring it was his priority. He should know - it’s his profession and how he makes his living. Managers often get things wrong but not as much a supporters.
